Incredibly Versatile User Login Module offers so much more!
- Take control of the DotNetNuke login process
- Offers options not possible with the native DotNetNuke installation
- Customize the appearance with graphical buttons and CSS Classes
- Log users in
- Use as a quick user registration form
- Import users
- Perform custom validation against another table, even an external SQL db
Log In Functions
- Log in by Username/Password as normal
- Log in by Email/Password
- Let the user choose which method to use!
- Optionally require user to select their Security Question and supply the correct answer
(Requires UCanUse User Attributes for registration/update of user account.)
- Optioanlly restrict log ins by IP or by IP Range after capturing x number of IPs from the user
Registration Functions
- Optionally register users or silently register users and optionally send them information about their registration.
- You can register users automatically when you import a user list (see Import Functions below).
- You can send people to a different registration form if you want if they try to log in and are not registered yet.
Import Functions
- You can import users from a csv text file or any text file as long as there is some kind of delimiter between fields (a comma or whatever). You can also import from a Microsoft Access database file, an SQL database (even one that is eternal to DotNetNuke) or a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- You can map fields you are importing to DotNetNuke profile properties.
- You can map an external field content to specific DotNetNuke security roles and assign those roles on import.
- You can silently register users as they are imported, and send email notifications to them with their registration information.
- You can use the included UCanUse Pending Actions module to delay sending the emails until after import so you don't tax your server too much during the import process. This helps avoid timeouts while importing larger lists of users.
Validation Functions
- Validate any or all of the following fields against another table in the same or an external SQL db: Username, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password, Zip Code, special Code.
- Validate against data you enter in the module settings
- Perform either of these two validations (against a DB table or against data you enter)
the first time a user logs in or every time the user logs in.
- Validate the user's IP against a single IP, a range of IPs or against the same user's IPs that you can capture as the user logs in any number of times
- Optionally lock the user's IP out after failing validation x number of times during the same log in attenmpt.
