UCanUse User Redirect offers a multitude of ways to redirect users on your DotNetNuke web site or portal.  Security Role based redirects (on one or multiple security roles), User-Specific redirects based on conditions, query-string redirects; send a user to a preliminary page before the normal redirect URL, set up timed redirects and more!  Developers can easily integrate their modules with the UCanUse User Redirect module!

Download our free IMC Send Email visual studio project and see how it is done!  This project serves as a short tutorial on how to do your own IMC modules for integration with User Attributes! 

How does it work?  When User Attributes is about to register a person or ssave an update, it sends an IMC message containing all the data a user has entered (plus all the portal and module data).  The IMC Send Email module, which will be invisible to the user, receives the data and performs whatever processing you want. When it is finished, it sends the data back to User Attributes and vola!  The processed data is back in User Attributes, which then continues its functions IF the right conditions which you set have been met. 

The IMC Send Email project shows you how to do this by demonstrating the process with a custom action, sending an email to recipeint(s) based on a field condition.  You can adapt this to perform any action you want, based on multiple fields if you want.

You will have to change the send-from and send-to email addresses directly in the ascx file to match your needs if you want to use the Send Email action.

IMC Initializer Released!

Here is another free add-on for User Attributes users!  This module will allow you to send data to the UCanUse User Attributes module in real time.  Used in conjunction with the UCanUse Message Router and the UCanUse Post Interceptor (included with Message Router), you can now integrate 3rd party forms with User Attributes (including XMod and Enterprise forms and any aspx or ascx form). You can also send data to User Attributes via querystring, using this module.

You can also use this module to program Actions for each selection in a multi-select list box.
